A Non-Religious food....Make A Change!!!!!

How hard one might try to stay away from communal-ism but politics is something that old-age Indian Politicians have been  playing on the grounds of religion and caste. To us(young India) it really doesn't matter as to what god you believe in.God is in heart and not a comparative entity. Has ever a thought pooped into your mind that the tiffin your friend bought has been cooked in a kitchen with different religion or all that matters is the Khana!!!!!!Then why cant the same reflect at the national front, or you believe its a more important topic than Food. Common man what's more important than food (the need for life).
Okay!!! Maybe he is your friend that's why you eat is food, but don't we all go out and eat at various places. Ever wondered ,whether that panipuri wale bhaiya is hindu or muslim or all we cared about is the hygiene.Ever cared what the chef in a restaurant looks like or which religion does he follow ,the only concern is regarding the veg and non veg  not been cooked in same vessels. Ever raised a doubt on the credibility of package food ,what gods the hands which touched this food believes in, or we cared about the expiry date.
Friends ,food is as important as life and when the concerns are logical in the case of what to eat and what not, why cant the considerations be logical with the politics and nation also.To you being hindu and choosing a hindu leader is fine but have ever considered that the dominating hinduist stubborn old man will do to your friends with different religion. Well don't think about the nation ,I know we all are selfish so I'll try explaining you that way only. We all have friends and known people from different caste and religion and accepts them and equally respect them for few of their believes. Now lets just think about them ,think beyond the small shell of religion and think as a human. If we get to follow a religion so should the other person.
I don't say that everyone is doing politics on religion but you cant deny that 90% are. Maybe these politicians are with the mind set of old India. Old India was where your name is a religion be it khan, yadav, singh, kumar, etc , you clothes signify a religion pathani suit a muslim, pagri a sardar, kurta pajama a hindu, lungi a South-Indian,etc . But isn't the new or today's India a lot different where importance is to first name and not to the last name(how many person's last name you remember ,bet the count of first name would be way higher than last name),clothes are more of a style statement jeans and tshirts or shirt pant or ladies suit or saree is what most of us wear(certainly according to gender). It would not be  a surprise to see a gujrati guy enjoying parathes and idlis as much as he relishes khakhra. Does that make him less or a gujrati?
Nothing makes you less of a person who follows his/her religion than inhumanity(Isnt that what all these holy books are trying to teach us since long).
Lets just start believing in a term called Humanity, yeah! we do. But only when something wrong is happening to us or a close one but lets start believing in Humanity when it comes to others maybe when its a stranger, or a guy who doest speak Hindi, or a poor girl or a muslim rickshawala, or  a guy named Anthony and not Ram ,to all known and Unknown.
I demand respect.Respect to all regardless of  name, age, caste, religion, gender, state, etc. To get respect ,earn it by giving it.You gotta make space for it. Make A Change!!!!!!!!!!!

* it is demeaning to people of all religion and caste and all politicains of all religion and caste.
** Examples doesn't target any person caste or religion you can change the gujrati context to that of any culture and their food.

A simple middle class family...a Vision!!!!!!

A simple middle class or upper middle class family is an earning husband with a beautiful housewife, who has dedicated her entire life for the kids and family, but at the end receives no applauds for the hardships she had.
Adding to the family would be conservative grandparents with a belief that only they deserve the respect and their decision on every particular topic is final, with two grandchildren a boy and  a beautiful girl.
The so called heir of the family is well treated with due respect and high expectations. But the poor daughter though with the changing times do get to wear less stereotype Indian outfits , allowed to go out with friends to hang out and also has made a point to study as much as she can for a rewarding job.
To her all this doesn't come easily, she pays a price by not choosing  an unconventional job such as modelling, acting, singing or any such office job which involves late nights, western outfits ,travelling,etc..
On the contrary the boy how much the prince he might have become at home with all his good image is someone who always chases girls maybe even tease them or must have involved in a couple of fights. But this all stays away from the family.
He might have loved someone from another religion but knows it cant be forever since we are Indians and Universal No to intercaste. He knows that had he even tried to  convince his family the only answer with drama he has to face is "yeh shaadi nhi ho sakti" or may be "mere marne ke baad shaadi kar lena usse" from the beloved grandparents or even it could be possible they just bash him up with the torture of disowning him from the family.
Cliche...Huh ...but very much Truth!!!!!!!
Now lets make a little change in this family ,just a vision that might help us understand how beautiful a multi cultured society could be and how productive this nation could be with both the genders fighting equally and believed to be at same level.
What if the father and mother were both earning and not to much surprise the lady of the house is doing great at both fronts but sadly the Father met with an accident that had shed a lot on his medical expenses and to add that a rest of couple of years to recover. And willingly or not now the only earning source is mother's job which is certainly decent enough after her 24 years of service to run a family of six. Had then the male ego declined the peculiar idea of women not working. Or had the so called saas would have exhaled  "Bahu sirf chulla chalka hi karti hai, bahar ake kaam nahi karti".
To not utter surprise for a burden free old-age she would have accepted the fact of her daughter in law working and feeding the family well. The man ego would not have come in the context of Father in law also who is at a meager pension every month.
But then irrevocably it happened that intellectual grand daughter while returning late from a conference got molested by local goons but a bit of self-defense knowledge helped her from being another rape victim. And when she informs the same to here parents with no tear of sorrow in her eye ,they ask her to file an FIR and Fight for the right.Or had daddi or ma  saying not to  tell police as people would get to know  and then who would marry her. Certainly people would gets to know thanks to media and police making it big.A few years later, when they were searching for a suitable groom for her the only responses are not from handicapped ,divorcees or guys with a baggage, but rather it is reciprocated by guys who see her as well educated ,intelligent, capable, strong and fearless girl.
No wonder there would be number of rishtas from the same community willing to marry her but with a price , a dowry that last ages.Wish the damn father slaps them all and even expose them out. To intact the self respect of the daughter her father not only marries her to a guy who looked beyond the odds of society and is religiously from a lower caste but well known to be human.
The Beta or Vansh would now have no desire to hid or fear the reason of  telling his parents that he loves  a girl who is from a different religion. Will now, the elders of family deny it for the sake of it being inter-caste or rather they  accepts it for the same reason for which they married the daughter to another caste.
May it not an instantaneous yes but I am sure it wont be a reluctant no.If you are reading this , great I am just requesting you that its not easy to change the society. To make vision come reality small but significant steps need to be taken. I have issues and so do you . We all want to be out of it to have a life where a person matters the most and not his/her religion, caste, gender, past, color, etc. Need for Change or Make A change!!!!!!!!!!!
